In a letter to Kapil Sibal, Minister of Telecommunications and IT, Rajan S Mathews, director general, Cellular Operators Association of India (COAI) has stated that COAI fully supports the Minister?s 100 day agenda. Further, the government?s initiative to review the National Telecom Policy (NTP) 1999 is a welcome step.
Therefore, keeping this in mind, COAI requests for an opportunity to give a formal presentation regarding formulation of the NTP and other related issues.
