Padmasree Warrior, chief technology officer (CTO), has stepped down from her position following major restructuring of top management at the company. However, she will move into a strategic advisory role at Cisco.
Warrior joined the company in 2008 and has served as a CTO and senior vice-president, engineering during her seven year stint with Cisco. An alumna of the Indian Institute of Technology (Delhi) and Cornell University, she is a member of the board of trustees for Cornell University and serves as director on the board of Gap Inc, United-States-based multinational clothing and accessories retailer.
