Cisco has posted revenues of $12.2 billion in the third quarter of 2013.

For the period under consideration, the company’s revenue in India and China increased by 29 per cent and 8 per cent, respectively.

Overall, Cisco’s revenues in emerging countries increased from 6 per cent in the second quarter of 2013 to 13 per cent in the third quarter of 2013. The company registered a revenue growth of 16 per cent, 14 per cent and 4 per cent in Russia, Brazil and Mexico, respectively.

Further, in the US, the company registered an increase of 7 per cent in revenues from the public sector. However, the company’s revenues from U.S. Federal declined by 3 per cent.

In the first quarter of 2013, the company registered flat growth in revenues in Europe, Middle East, Africa and Russia region.

The company’s revenue from the global enterprise and commercial segments increased by 3 per cent each during this period. For the period under consideration, Cisco’s revenues on account of global orders registered an increase of 8 per cent. Further, its global public sector revenue registered a growth of 1 per cent.

For the third quarter of 2013, Cisco’s global revenue from cloud data centre business and wireless business increased by 77 per cent and 27 per cent, respectively. For the period under consideration the company’s Wi-Fi and video business registered a growth of 100 per cent and 30 per cent, respectively.
