Cisco has reported flat revenue growth in India for the fourth quarter of the financial year 2012, say news reports.
The company?s revenue from emerging markets – Europe, Middle East and Africa has increased by 12 per cent in the fourth quarter of 2012. For the corresponding period, the company?s business in China increased by 17 per cent. In the fourth quarter of 2012, Cisco?s revenue from Japan and Australia increased by 12 per cent and 13 per cent, respectively.
At the end of the fourth quarter of 2012, Cisco registered year-on-year growth of four per cent in its total sales. Its total sales for the period stood at $11.7 billion. Its net profit for the corresponding period stood at $1.9 billion.
For the financial year 2012, Cisco?s total sales stood at $46.1 billion. The company registered a net profit of $8 billion for the financial year 2012.
At the end of the fourth quarter of 2012, Cisco?s total manpower stood at 66,639.
