Cisco has signed a strategic agreement with L&T Tech Services to explore potential business opportunities in ?Internet of Everything (IoE)? for transportation and other industry verticals such as manufacturing, defence, and the off-highway transport segment. Cisco and L&T Technology Services will set up a Global Solution Centre to showcase innovative connectivity and convergence based solutions.
The solution centre olution, which will be housed within the L&T Technology Services facility in Bengaluru, will focus on both technical and business considerations of connected transportation as well as ways to make rails and mass transit more productive, intelligent and safe. Further, the centre will offer a range of products and services addressing on-board and trackside deployments in a variety of applications.
