
Chinese telecom equipment vendor Huawei Technologies is close to signing $400-$600 million network outsourcing contracts with telecom service providers in India. Huawei is reportedly in advanced stages of negotiations with BSNL, MTNL, Vodafone Essar and Bharti Airtel. Outsourcing their network expansion and management services to Huawei will enable these companies to focus on adding subscribers and improving the quality of services. Each deal will reportedly be valued at $200-$300 million.
