China Network Communications Group (China Netcom) has awarded a contract to Huawei Technologies for the supply of optical access solutions for the operator’s new optic fibre network.

China Network Communications Group (China Netcom) has awarded a contract to Huawei Technologies for the supply of optical access solutions for the operator’s new optic fibre network. Under the contract, Huawei will provide its SmartAX MA5600T series optical access equipment for China Netcom’s broadband users throughout the country. This will help China Netcom to provide innovative multi-play voice, video and data services. The contract has made Huawei, China Netcom’s largest optical solutions partner.
