China Mobile has appointed Alcatel to deploy its IP network. The objective is to enable accelerated delivery of IP-based premium voice and multimedia services to its customers and increase bandwidth. Alcatel will deploy its 7750 Service Router and the 5620 Service Aware Manager in 13 provinces and municipalities of China including Beijing and Shanghai.
