Check Point Software Technologies Limited has appointed Sharat Sinha as vice president (VP) for the Asia-Pacific (APAC) and Japan region. In this role, he will be responsible for driving Check Point’s market and business growth in the region, focusing on sales strategy and operational plans. Sinha has over 25 years of experience in senior sales and marketing positions in the cybersecurity and enterprise IT sectors. Before joining Check Point, he was serving as VP, Asia-Pacific and Japan, VMware. In the past, he has held the position of Theater VP and general manager for APAC at Palo Alto Networks. He has also held several sales and divisional leadership positions at Cisco.
