
O.P. Saini, Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) special Judge has sentenced A. Raja, former Minister of Communications to 14 days judicial custody, according to news reports.
Raja will remain in custody until March 3, 2011, as the CBI did not seek any further remand for interrogation.
Raja was arrested on February 2, 2011, for his involvement in the 2G spectrum allocation issue, which caused huge losses to the national exchequer, and remanded in CBI custody initially for five days.
