The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has shifted its focus to Unitech, who earned a substantial profit of nearly 267 per cent, by off-loading 60 per cent of shares after getting spectrum in 2007-08, according to news reports.
It is believed that senior officials of Unitech will be questioned after the CBI finishes interrogating Shahid Balwa, promoter of Swan Telecom and managing director of the DB group.
A few Unitech officials have already been questioned by the CBI and the Enforcement Directorate and given that more evidence had surfaced, a fresh round of questioning would soon be initiated.
