According to news reports, BTVL plans to invest Rs 40 billion in A 2005-06 for network expansion across its 23 circles. It is set to double its base stations from 10,000 to 20,000 and expand to 5,000 towns and cities from the 2,800 where it is currently present. The company plans to enter all towns that have a population of more than 10,000.
