Britain based BT has announced plans to launch 5G services in more than 20 towns and cities in an effort to provide its consumer and business customers fastest connections across both fixed line and mobile.
Earlier in May 2019, BT’s mobile brand EE had switched on Britain’s first commercial 5G services.
As per BT, its business customers and consumers who have signed up for its broadband and mobile package BT Plus would be the first to be offered 5G services. Further, the company added that the service will require a handset from a range including the Samsung Galaxy Note 10+, OnePlus 7 Pro and Huawei Mate 20.
The company is also planning to launch a new bundled product Halo in November 2019 which will offer unlimited data and calls on mobile and fixed lines.
