Indian telecom majors BSNL, TTSL, Hutch and Airtel are readying themselves to roll out the “OneIndia” plan by January 26. The only exception is Idea Cellular, which has no intention of joining the bandwagon. IT and telecommunications minister Dayanidhi Maran had earlier announced a “OneIndia” plan to be launched by January this year. While the minister had mooted the plan for BSNL, other players are joining the fray as well. Meanwhile, BSNL officials say the company is ready with the scheme and will be offering the services under its “IndiaOne” brand.
