With the objective of generating additional revenues, Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) is partnering with a large number of tablet makers.

As part of the tie-up with tablet makers, the operator is offering bundled data services packs to its customers.

Recently, BSNL has extended its partnership with the tablet manufacturer Pantel Technologies Private Limited to Andhra Pradesh. The operator already had a marketing arrangement with the company in other states like Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu and West Bengal.

Pantel Technologies is offering customers eight tablets in the price range of Rs 3,999 to Rs 14,699 with special bundled data services packs from BSNL.

BSNL has struck similar marketing arrangements with other tablet makers like Teracom and Fitech. The tie-ups are aimed to encourage the use of BSNL?s broadband services with offers such as free dongles.
