BSNL posts revenue of Rs 193.05 billion in the first nine months of the financial year 2012-13

Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has registered revenue of Rs 193.05 billion for the nine month period ending December 31, 2012. For the period under review, the operator?s losses stand at Rs 65.36 billion.

Also, for the nine month period ending December 31, 2012 ? BSNL has a market share of 13.51 per cent.

Earlier, BSNL had reported revenue of Rs 279.33 billion for the financial year 2011-12 as against revenue of Rs 288.76 for the financial year 2010-2011. In 2012 the operator?s losses stood at Rs 88.51 billion as compared as against a loss of Rs 63.84 billion in 2011.

The profit and revenue figures for the corresponding nine month period for the financial year 2011-12 is not available.
