BSNL may soon float 4G tender; process to be open for all firms

Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) is reportedly planning to come out with a tender inviting companies to roll out its 4G network soon.

As per industry sources, the tender would be open for all companies including China-based Huawei and ZTE.

For arranging the funds, BSNL has already written to the government for providing a sovereign guarantee worth Rs 150 billion, which will allow it to raise money from the market.
