Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has launched video telephone services in Bhopal.
The operator will use its 256 Kbps broadband connections as the platform to provide the service.
A BSNL subscriber with an existing 256 Kbps broadband connection would be provided with a 2 Mbps private virtual circuit which would enable them to make video calls.
To avail of the service, the customer will be charged Rs 3,000 as security deposit and Rs 250 as registration and activation charges. Monthly rental is Rs 150 and video calls are priced at Rs 2.50 per minute.
