Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited has said that starting October 01, 2020, it will begin offering four new Bharat Fiber broadband plans starting from Rs 449 and going on till Rs 1,499.

The newly launched Bharat Fiber broadband plans are priced at Rs 449, Rs 799, Rs 999, and Rs 1,499, and will directly compete with Reliance Jio’s revised JioFiber plans.

The Rs 449 ‘Fibre Basic’ plan comes with 30Mbps data speeds for upto 3.3 TB data. However, the speed will get capped at 2 Mbps once the FUP limit gets exhausted. Further, users will also be able to use unlimited calling facilities to any non-BSNL network. The Fibre Basic plan will be available in all the circles except Andaman and Nicobar circle.

Meanwhile, the Rs 799 ‘Fibre Value’ broadband plan offers 100 Mbps data speeds for upto 3.3 TB of data. Users will also get free access to landline facilities. Once the FUP limit is reached, speed will get capped at 2Mbps.

The third plan called the ‘Fibre Premium’ plan, priced at Rs 999, provides speeds of 200 Mbps for upto 3.3TB of data. Post-FUP limit, speed will get capped at 2Mbps. In addition to data services, users will also get unlimited voice calling facilities with the plan.

Lastly, the Rs 1,499 ‘BSNL Fibre Ultra Broadband Plan’ comes with 300 Mbps data speeds with a FUP limit of 4 TB.
