Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) BSNL and IGNOU have signed an MoU, with the objective of supporting various activities related to education and training in India.
The MoU aims to combine the technology, nation-wide network and services capabilities of BSNL with the capabilities of IGNOU in managing a country-wide education network.
Both BSNL and IGNOU will work closely with various national missions, such as the National Knowledge Network (NKN), National Mission in Education through ICT (NME-ICT), National Program on Technology Enhanced Learning (NPTEL), etc, to promote their objectives. BSNL would provide the technology network, while IGNOU would provide content and technology-enhanced learning solutions.
