Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has issued a tender inviting bids for implementation of 2.5 MW of grid-connected rooftop solar photovoltaic (PV) projects on BSNL buildings in different zones of Maharashtra.
The project will be developed under the RESCO model.
Further, the scope of work will include site survey, design, manufacture, supply, erection, testing, commissioning, and operation and maintenance (O&M) of 2.5 MW of grid-connected rooftop projects.
The last date for online submission of the bid is March 17, 2020. Further, the techno-commercial bids will be opened on March 18, 2020.
As per the tender, the interested bidders should have designed, supplied, installed and commissioned at least one grid-connected solar PV power project having a capacity of not less than 50 kW which should have been commissioned at least six months prior to techno-commercial bid opening date.
Further, with regards to the financial criteria, the average annual turnover during the last three years, ending March 3, 2020, of the previous financial year, should not be less than Rs 40 million.
Furthermore, the bidder should have experience of atleast 7 years in similar works for the central and state governments, central autonomous bodies, or central public sector undertakings, and should be from the Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) approved vendors for solar rooftop projects.
As per the tender, the bidding is in fixed tariff for 25 year period. Further, the bidders will be required to furnish fixed tariff for 25 years starting from the date of commissioning of the project and capacity under the tender will be allocated based on the lowest fixed tariff for 25 years quoted by the bidder.
