According to Jyotiraditya Scindia, Union Minister of Communications and Development of North Eastern Region, Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has installed 62,201 4G towers in India.
Further, he noted that not all of these towers may be operational yet. However, BSNL is on track to meet its target of deploying 100,000 4G towers nationwide, with expectations to achieve this milestone before June 2025.
