BSNL in discussions with MTNL to manage MTNL’s international calls on its network

Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) will likely be managing international calls for Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Limited (MTNL).

According to industry sources, the two telcos are in discussions and a decision is expected to be taken within 1-2 months. The issue would likely be decided on the mutual consensus between them and the matter would not require any prior approval from the Digital Communications Communication (DCC).

If finalised, the move will enable BSNL to facilitate MTNL’s international calls on its networks.
