BSNL has entered into a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with RailTel to execute various telecom-related projects through the sharing of communications infrastructure. The three-year MoU facilitates the execution of various projects of national importance such as defence, enterprise resources planning and national knowledge base network. As a first step, the sharing of resources such as dark fibres and bandwidth between BSNL and RailTel is being taken up under the MoU.
