BSNL has launched 3G services in the Orissa circle. To begin with, services have been launched in Bhubaneswar and Puri; these will be expanded to four more towns ?? Khurda, Jatnai, Cuttack and Jharsuguda ?? in April 2009. The company plans to roll out 3G services in 48 locations in the state by July 2009. It has made additional investments worth Rs 750 million for rolling out this service in the state.
