BSNL has awarded a Rs 1.04 billion contract to Teracom, a telecom transmission equipment manufacturer backed by ZTE, to provide a fibre-to-the-home network to the operator. This network will enable the state-owned operator to deliver high speed voice, video and data services to its subscribers.
