
Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has disconnected services to Bharti Airtel, Vodafone Essar and Idea Cellular in the Haryana circle, leading to disruption in landline and mobile services.
Prior to this, BSNL had disconnected the Points of Interconnect (PoI) of these companies in the Punjab circle. STD services were functioning normally, as they are operated through the trunk exchanges.
After the disconnection, BSNL landline subscribers in Haryana could not connect with mobile numbers on Bharti Airtel, Vodafone Essar and Idea Cellular?s networks. Similarly, customers of these three operators could not call up fixed line numbers of BSNL in the same circle.
BSNL claims to have total outstanding dues amounting to Rs 27 million in the Haryana circle, including Rs 9.8 million from Vodafone Essar, Rs 8.1 million from Bharti Airtel and Rs 9.2 million from Idea Cellular.
