Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has deployed 1,111 base transceiver stations (BTS) in Bihar under the 4G saturation project. This milestone was achieved by October 31, 2024.
The project aims to ensure high-speed internet connectivity for the customers.
In addition, BSNL is the only telecom operator deploying 4G using homegrown gear, provided by a consortium led by Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), Tejas Networks, Centre for Development of Telematics (C-DoT), and ITI Limited.
