BSNL and Dimension Data launch cloud computing services

Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has collaborated with Dimension Data to introduced enterprise cloud computing services.

The operator is offering this service through its internet data centres (IDCs). The cloud services are based on Dimension Data’s managed cloud platform. In so far, BSNL has signed deals with 15 companies for providing cloud services.

Commenting on the launch, K. Upadhyay, chairman and managing director, BSNL, says: “The IDCs and cloud services have not only enabled us to build and add new capabilities to our portfolio, but has also benefited our clients who can leverage our flexible sourcing options or simply host their entire IT assets within our secure environment.”
