BSNL agrees to waive off carriage charges for MTNL

BSNL has agreed to waive carriage charges (on a per minute basis) for Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Limited’s (MTNL) calls to the National Capital Region (NCR). Instead, MTNL will pay BSNL a comprehensive amount on an annual basis. BSNL was requested for this waiver as MTNL’s maximum calls are made to the NCR.

MTNL would, nevertheless, have to pay BSNL the standard termination charges of Re 0.30 per minute for calls to the NCR.
