Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has announced that over 5,000 of its 4G sites are now operational in Rajasthan, marking a significant milestone for the company. These sites are deployed using indigenous technology developed by a consortium led by Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), which includes the Centre for Development of Telematics (C-DoT) and Tejas Networks.
In total, BSNL has activated around 75,000 sites so far, and the telco has plans to bring all 1,00,000 4G sites online by the end of the June 2025 quarter.
