British Telecom (BT) has acquired Mumbai-based i2i Enterprises for an undisclosed value.

British Telecom (BT) has acquired Mumbai-based i2i Enterprises for an undisclosed value. The acquisition will give BT access not only to i2i’s four licences ?? NLD, ILD, ISP and IP telephony ?? but also to assets worth $22.5 million. However, there are guidelines restricting a company from cross-holding identical licences in the same service areas. BT has already signed letters of intent for its own NLD and ILD licences.
