BlackBerry has introduced its instant messaging service (BBM) for enterprises.
As part of eBBMTM Suite, the company has launched BBMTM Protected solution offering secure enterprise class messaging to businesses. eBBM Suite is a new family of BBM products and services particularly targeted at enterprises.
eBBM Suite includes services designed to enable mobile workers to be more productive on the go, while addressing enterprises? need for security, manageability and control.
At present, the BBM Protected service can be accessed through BlackBerry smartphones functioning on BBOS 6.0 or BlackBerry 10 in regulated mode. Going forward, the smartphone manufacturer plans to introduce various versions of BBM Protected for BlackBerry 10 smartphones using BlackBerry Balance and iOS and Android operating system.
