
Sunil Lalvani, managing director (MD), BlackBerry India has put in his papers at the company. He took over as MD of the company in 2013 and previously led BlackBerry?s enterprise business.
Lalvani has more than 22 years of industry experience and besides Blackberry, has worked with companies such as Cisco, Nokia, SITA-Equant, and Global Telesystems.
With Lalvani stepping down as MD, BlackBerry is in the process of appointing a new head for the Indian operations. However, in the interim, Matthew Tonkin, vice-president, Carrier sales and distribution, Asia Pacific, BlackBerry will lead the company?s Indian operations.
