Binod Singh’s career journey has been marked by significant contributions to the foundation and growth of leading IT enterprises. He played a pivotal role in establishing the groundwork for Wipro IT and HCL Technologies.
As the founder, president and chairman of the board at Cross Identity, he oversees the strategic direction and overall management of the company, including setting long-term goals, defining the company’s vision, and ensuring that all business activities align with the mission to innovate within the identity and access management (IAM) domain. He works closely with the leadership team to ensure that the company remains at the forefront of technological advancements and market trends within the IAM industry. This involves collaborating with key stakeholders, including investors, partners and clients, to establish strong relationships.
Singh feels that the primary challenge in the sector lies in harnessing the full potential of AI to develop a zero-implementation solution in the IAM domain. “We are dedicated to overcoming complexities in integrating AI seamlessly, ensuring it drives efficiency and security while simplifying implementation. This involves creating an adaptable, cutting-edge platform that meets the diverse needs of modern IAM requirements, setting new industry benchmarks,” he says.

This endeavour required amalgamating cutting-edge technologies, strategic vision, and an understanding of evolving industry needs. Through Cross Identity, we have revolutionised the IAM landscape, setting new standards in efficiency, security and adaptability,” he says.
For Singh, “Crafting a comprehensive corporate IAM solution for Malaysia’s largest telecom company remains a standout assignment. The challenge of modernising their outdated tools and delivering substantial returns through IAM deployment excited me. It was a testament to our ability to innovate and drive transformation in a challenging environment.” His management style is characterised by a collaborative, motivational and goal-oriented approach, emphasising teamwork and shared achievements while aligning individual efforts with the objectives of the company.
Singh has an MTech from IIT Kharagpur. Outside of work, he enjoys doing yoga, exploring pranayama, and delving into research on quantum science, quantum healing and meditation. His family comprises his “highly supportive” son.
