As per industry sources, Big C, a mobile phone retailing network, is planning to open 75 more stores in 2020-21, taking the total number of outlets to 300. The company will be investing Rs 500 million for this expansion.
At present, Big C has 225 stores spread across Telangana, Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu.
The company has said that it is targeting a turnover of Rs 15 billion by March 2021 and hopes that online sales and smart devices will contribute Rs 2 billion each.
