Bharti Telesoft is close to acquiring Bangalore-based Jataayu Software, a provider of technology solutions for mobile handsets and value-added services (VAS), for about $20 million.

Bharti Telesoft is close to acquiring Bangalore-based Jataayu Software, a provider of technology solutions for mobile handsets and value-added services (VAS), for about $20 million. The move is in line with Bharti Telesoft’s core operations of providing valueadded products and services to operators globally. Jataayu recently announced that its solutions in the mobile instant messaging and presence services were being launched with the Saudi Telecom Company along with Ericsson. It has similar alliances with VeriSign and TCS as well.
