Bharti Tele Ventures Limited has launched mobile services in Orissa. With this, Bharti’s footprint now extends to 20 out of the 23 circles in the country. In Orissa, the company covers over 1,200 km of highways and rail routes in over 100 towns. The company is planning similar launches in Bihar and Jharkhand inJanuary 2005 and in Assam and the northeast by March 2005.
