Devender Singh Rawat, managing director (MD) and chief executive officer (CEO)of Bharti Infratel has resigned from his post after a decade-long stint with the company.

According to Bharti Infratel, till the time the aforesaid vacancy is filled, the operations will be managed by the next highest ranking officer under the guidance of the chairman of the board.

With an experience of 14 years in the telecom sector, Rawat, over the years, has worked in various capacities in Escotel, Ericsson and also served as executive director of Huawei Telecommunications.
