Bharti Infratel has appointed Pooja Jain as the new chief financial officer (CFO), with effect from June 04, 2020.

Jain has come in place of S Balasubramanian, who was previously CFO of Bharti Infratel and has left the company.

Prior to this, Jain was heading shared services and enterprise risk management at Bharti Infratel. She has been associated with the company for around 11 years now and has played a key role during various projects. Jain was a key functional resource in the IPO of Bharti Infratel in 2012 and during the demerger of 12 circles of Bharti Infratel to the subsidiary company Bharti Infratel Ventures. She also played an instrumental role during the merger of Bharti Infratel Ventures with the joint venture company, Indus Towers.

She comes with over 17 years of experience. Before joining Bharti Infratel in 2009, Jain was working with Emmar MGF. Prior to that, she was associated with Bharti Airtel where she worked for around three years.
