Bharti Hexacom has announced its audited consolidated financial results for the first quarter (Q1) of the financial year 2024-25. The company reported a net profit of Rs 5,110 million for the June quarter, a 101.9 per cent increase from the year-ago period, led by smartphone additions, improvement in subscriber mix, and an increase in average revenue per user (ARPU).

The ARPU increased from Rs 194 to Rs 205, driven by continued mix improvement and a focus on quality acquisitions. Revenue for the reported quarter increased by 13.6 per cent year-on-year (YoY) to Rs 19,110 million. Mobile services revenue increased by 12.9 percent from the previous year.

Further, the homes and office business revenue increased by 21.1 per cent YoY, led by robust customer additions.

Furthermore, the company’s earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortisation (EBITDA) stood at Rs 9,120 million, with an EBITDA margin of 47.7 per cent, down 313 basis points (bps) from the previous year. Earnings before interest and taxes (EBIT) were at Rs 4,160 million, with a margin of 21.8 per cent, a decline of 443 bps.
