Bharti Enterprises has launched its Airtel Broadband and Telephone Services in Punjab. The group has made an investment of Rs 2 billion in hi-broadband solutions. The service was introduced in Chandigarh, Jalandhar and Ludhiana. About 83 sites are already operational in the three cities. The company has laid more than 245 km of optic fibre cable and over 786 km of copper cable.
