Bharti Enterprises has appointed Rajesh Sud as MD, financial services. He will report to Sunil Bharti Mittal, founder and chairman, Bharti Enterprises. As part of his new responsibilities, Sud will lead the financial services businesses of Bharti Enterprises. This includes Bharti-AXA General Insurance and Bharti-AXA Life Insurance. In addition, he will serve on the board of Airtel Payments Bank. He will guide Bharti Enterprises’ current and future prospects in the financial services businesses. Prior to this, Sud was working with Max Life Insurance as executive vice-chairman and managing director. He has 25 years of experience in the Indian banking and life insurance industry.
