In a note to subscribers, Gopal Vittal, chief executive officer (CEO), Bharti Airtel said that the telco is focused on ensuring its services offer predictability to customers amid the Covid-19 crisis and has made an investment of over Rs 180 billion to buy spectrum that will dramatically improve indoor coverage in coming months.
Further, Vittal added that the company has taken multiple steps to ensure that its coverage and user experience improves. The telco is focused on safety and convenience of its customers, through contactless home delivery of SIMs and online payments. Vittal also highlighted security-related measures amid a massive increase in cyber frauds.
Meanwhile, talking about strengthening of networks, Vittal added that Airtel has also invested an additional Rs 200 billion to enhance its capacities. Vittal also highlighted Airtel Payments Bank’s Safe Pay as the safest method of paying online in the country.
