Bharti Airtel is reportedly planning to implement renewable energy solutions at its tower sites in Africa.
The company is looking at implementing solar energy solutions at close to 1,400 tower sites. This exercise is aimed at reducing diesel usage by 11 million litres in this financial year.
Meanwhile, the operator has already implemented solar power at close to 1,000 tower sites.
