Bharti Airtel has partnered with Axis Bank for extending banking and payment services on its mobile platform.
The operator?s wholly owned subsidiary Airtel mCommerce Services Limited will be providing banking solutions in partnership with Axis bank.
As part of the tie-up, no-frills savings account of Axis Bank will be opened for customers on the Airtel Money platform called ?Airtel money Super Account powered by Axis Bank.? Through this platform customers will be able to carry out banking transactions including cash deposit, money transfer and withdrawal.
These services will provide a convenient, safe and secure savings avenue to customers. Customers will get savings account interest and also will be able to make remittances through these accounts.
At present, the savings and remittance solutions will be provided in the top four remittance corridors including Delhi and Mumbai on the sending side and Bihar and East Uttar Pradesh on the receiving side.
