Bharti Airtel has reported a loss of Rs 159,331 million during the quarter ended (QE) June 2020.
Further, the operator’s total revenue has grown by 15 per cent from Rs 207,379million during quarter ended (QE) June 2019 to Rs 239,387 million during the corresponding quarter in 2020.
Meanwhile, the consolidated earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) increased by 25 per cent on a year on year (YoY) basis from Rs 84,926 million to Rs 106,392million during the period under consideration.
Subscriber base as on June 30, 2020, stood at 419.9 million, as compared to 403.6 million in the corresponding quarter last year. The company’s average revenue per user (ARPU) for the quarter came in at Rs 157 as compared to Rs 129 a year ago.
