Bharti Airtel has announced the early redemption of bonds worth $1 billion, originally issued as part of its 10-year bond programme. The company confirmed that the bonds were fully redeemed on June 10, 2025, in accordance with the terms outlined in the offering memorandum.
Further, the redemption comes just a week after Airtel had approached the global debt market on June 3 to raise up to $1 billion in a 10-year bond sale programme. Following the repayment, the redeemed bonds have been cancelled and will be delisted from the Singapore Exchange Limited.
