Bharti Airtel is reportedly planning to launch its own unified video conferencing service.

The telco will initially offer the product to startups and enterprises and will roll out the platform for regular customers after assessing the response.

As per industry sources, the telco will be focusing on localisation and security as the key differentiators for its latest video conferencing product. Furthermore, the video conferencing tool will work across mobile and desktops and will use the latest AES 256 encryption and multiple layers of authentication.

The move follows the recent launch of Reliance Jio’s video conferencing service JioMeet.
