Bharti Airtel offers free roaming in Assam, Northeast

Bharti Airtel is offering subscribers free roaming on incoming calls in Assam and the North East.

Users will be charged Rs 1 per minute for each call while roaming. All STD calls will be charged Rs 1.50 per minute. Further, for local and national SMS, users will be charged Rs 1 and Rs 1.50 per SMS respectively.
